News on FÓLK

We’re honored to be featured in the September issue of the Danish design magazine Bo Bedre! Highlighted among Icelandic design, FÓLK's commitment to circular design and sustainability is in the spotlight. The Airbag by Studio Flétta and the Lava vase by NAVET are showcased as examples of our innovative circular products. Thank you, Bo Bedre, for the feature!

The Icelandic Design Brand FÓLK Reykjavik is offering an Augmented Reality view of its products as a service to consumers and professional partners.

Consumers can with their Iphone to find out how a design product fits their home, as well as look at the detail of products from every angle. Current changes in consumer behaviour following the COVID 19 pandemic have fuelled ecommerce and demand an increased focus on service online.

FÓLK Reykjavik introduced this upcycled lamp made from upcycled textiles - previous bedlinen, towels or cutoffs from textile production.

FÓLK is thrilled to announce that we've received a grant from the Íslandsbanki Entrepreneur Fund for our "Circular Design" project. This initiative aims to research, design, and develop new products using recycled local materials like plastic, aluminum, and stone. Previously, the project also received support from the Icelandic Design Fund. Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting journey, with PureNorth Recycling by our side!
FÓLK's aim is to create designs for modern sustainable living, promote circularity and lower the impact of interior design on the environment. The upcycled revolution is an emerging mega trend at the core of FÓLKs strategy and mission.

Stone from the digging grounds of the State Hospital in Reykjavik Iceland is among the stone used for our local edition of the multifunctional Living Objects.

The Icelandic interior design brand, FÓLK Reykjavik, and Noneka Oy, a distribution agent of interior brands to Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, have signed a distribution agreement.
