The Icelandic interior design brand, FÓLK Reykjavik, and Noneka Oy, a distribution agent of interior brands to Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, have signed a distribution agreement. Noneka will represent, market and service FÓLK’s designs towards retailers in the area. Noneka is already representing Le Klint, Luceplan, Mater, Fritz Hansen Lightning, Verpan, Askman Design and Englesson in the area.
FÓLK is an emerging brand from Iceland, creating designs inspired by impressions from Nordic and Arctic living. The brand‘s emphasis is to encourage and support a more sustainable and circular economy through design thinking and product development.
In collaboration with upcoming designers, FÓLK introduces new collections from natural, recycled or upcycled materials, such as stone, recycled steel, upcycled textiles and FSC certified wood. The collaboration of FÓLK and talented designers from Iceland, is driven by a development of, natural or upcycled materials, supporting the transformation to a circular economy.
