Simple shapes and a play with light and shadows are the starting point of Tinna Gunnarsdóttir’s Profile Lamp. The shape is an ode to the geometry that surrounds us all. The light source is diffused and dimmable. The design is a conversation between
light, material and geometry.

The PROFILE lamp was originally designed by Tinna Gunnarsdóttir in 2013, and then made of aluminium. This time, it is made of solid wood and is 120 cm high. The lamp is specially developed by Tinna in collaboration with FÓLK Reykjavik.
Tinna's take on the design: "The shape is an ode to the geometry all around us. The Profile is an ode to technology, which is launching us into the future. The material is an ode to nature, which we all belong to. The production is an ode to craft and detail, which means a lot to all of us."
