Launching new collections at 3daysofdesign

We are excited to share that FÓLK is launching three new collections during 3daysofdesign the 12th to the 14th of June. The collections are made from upcycled and recycled materials and aims to contribute to the shift towards the green transition. The collections have been design by FÓLK, German designer Marcus Götschl and the Swedish design studio NAVET for FÓLK Reykjavik.

The Lava Glass by NAVET
The Lava Glass vase is designed by the Swedish design team NAVET. NAVET stands for New And Very Exciting Things and is founded by Lina Hurning, Maria Johansson, Helena Svensson and Cecilia Wahlberg. NAVET thrives on dynamic collections and the new glass collection is both new and exciting and is made out of recycled glass. The vase have also been produced from waste energy in the innovative production in Sweden. The new glass collection is inspired by natural materials and organic forms, resembling flowing lava in a beautiful organic way.

The Offcut Tray by FÓLK
Working with stone and marble since 2018, FÓLK came to acknowledge the large amount of leftover stone left at any of the many stonemakers of the world. Working together with a supplier in Portugal, the FÓLK team finally succeeded in launching a new product line fully made from leftover stone. The trays are beautiful pieces of stone showing how simplicity can make the perfect tray for any occasion.
